Why when I click the PayPal button on the product page, the page jumps directly to the checkout page instead of popping up PayPal payment window to pay directly?

Thank you for reaching out with your inquiry.
This is the right behavior. Jump directly to the checkout page to get the coupon, billing address, shipping address, etc., so that WooCommerce orders can be correctly established after payment. If you do not do this, you will not be able to obtain the correct order information.

How to remove ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button from cart page?
If PayPal Checkout is the only enabled payment gateway and you want to remove the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button from the cart, you can use this snippet:

Does this support both production mode and sandbox mode for testing?
